Hello, I am Yolande.

 

I have been painting since I can remember, and it has always been a passion of mine.

 

It was only later in my life that I realised that I'm giving all my energy to work, life and responsibilities, and none to my art. I needed to nurture and grow my God given talent.

I paint a little bit of everything, but mainly portraits, I call them The Girls. Each one of the Girls has a very deep connection and meaning to my life and people in my life. They are either based on a special person, or an important time in my life, or sometime a tough time I had to go through.

 

I hope they light up your heart and remind you of the beauty that can be found everywhere, if we just look for it.

I also doodle.. and I have turned my doodles into patterns that I have applied to fabric and other items.

I currently live in the UK, with my husband and dog-child, Jesse.
